September is still hot — daytime highs commonly sit in the upper 80s to mid-90s °F early in the month, then trend cooler toward October. Pack light daytime clothes, a layer for late-night shows or casino air conditioning, and sunscreen for pool decks and outdoor venues.
Labor Day Weekend 2026 (September 4–7)
Labor Day falls on Monday, September 7, 2026. Expect busy hotels, higher room rates, packed pool parties, and a stacked concert calendar from Friday through Monday. If you want quieter nights, consider mid-week after the holiday or the second half of September.

Cirque du Soleil’s Strip lineup after early September still includes staples such as O (Bellagio), Mystère (Treasure Island), KÀ (MGM Grand), and Michael Jackson ONE (Mandalay Bay). Absinthe continues in the Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace with multiple nightly showtimes.
Closed / ending note: Cirque du Soleil’s Mad Apple at New York-New York played its final show on September 5, 2026 and is no longer running. Do not book Mad Apple dates. Also: The Mirage and Tropicana are not open hotels for stays or classic open-inventory attractions — plan around currently operating resorts.

Sports in September 2026
The Las Vegas Raiders open the regular season at Allegiant Stadium against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, September 13, 2026 (afternoon kickoff). Later September Sundays are road games on the published schedule — verify kickoff times on the official Raiders site if your trip hinges on a home game.
