How to get in a Vegas Pool Party

There are several options to get into a pool party, some better and cheaper than others.

Pay Cover:  As mentioned above, guests (especially males) can expect to wait in line and pay a cover charge at day clubs. Cover can be anywhere from $20 to $150.

Buy Tickets:  Avoid the hassle and get fast entry with event tickets.  This is the best way to get into a pool if you are not doing VIP service. Tickets go from $15 to $100+.

Guestlist: Some pool parties offer guestlist access.  Most of the time, this is for women only and maybe couples. You can contact a club host and see if you can get added to a guest list, which may speed up your time in the line and avoid entry altogether.

VIP Entry/Bottle Service at pool Parties

VIP access is the most expensive but could also be cost-effective for larger groups of guys.

Guarantee entry to a pool party by purchasing a VIP package. This option is similar to bottle service at a nightclub, where a set minimum spend will grant you seating with table service, bottles and mixers, except at a day club, food can be counted toward your minimum.

VIP options such as a daybed or cabana are highly recommended for a group of guys that want to avoid cover, long wait times, and drink a fair amount of liquor.  It is also hard not to have a great time with this option!

VIP service minimums vary based on demand, such as holiday weekends or famous artists performing.  Guests can anticipate a minimum charge of around $1,000 for a daybed and up to $5,000 for a  cabana on a busy weekend. This package may be the only way to go if you plan to attend with a large group of guys.

You can read our las vegas bottle service guide for a more in-depth look at the breakdown in costs for Bottle services and compare it to paying cover charge only.

Pool Party Day Club Music in Vegas

First-time visitors should know that Electronic Dance and House are the music of choice at most pool parties.

Pool parties also play top 40, hip-hop, and pop.

Tip: You can browse the venue calendar to see who is performing to get a general idea of the music genre. Drais Beach Club and Daylight

What to wear to Vegas pool party?

What should you wear to a pool party in Vegas? Is there any dress code?

It is pretty simple: wear a swimsuit unless it is a nighttime party.

Avoid sports attire, like jerseys or gym shorts.  Avoid ripped-sole shoes or boots, see-through clothing, baggy clothing, or anything offensive.

Some pools have a stricter dress code than others, but you’re safe wearing a swimsuit, sandals or flip-flops, and a tank top or swimsuit cover-up.

Generally speaking, for proper pool party attire, dress as if you were going to the beach.

Vegas Pool Party Prices

Pool parties are expensive, just like most things in Vegas.

You pay for access and location. Know that you’ll likely spend more money than you had planned.

Entry fees vary depending on the day of the week and who is performing.  Generally, male guests can expect to pay $50 to get in.  Female cover charge, on the other hand, is determined by your level of sexy, the hotter you look, the less you pay and may even grant you free entry.

As a general rule, men pay more to enter clubs than women, there is no such thing as gender equality here!

What are the drink prices at Pool Parties?

Prices for drinks at a Vegas pool party are similar to what you’d expect at an upscale restaurant, bar, or nightclub in Vegas.  A single beer will cost nearly $10-$12, whereas specialty cocktails could cost you $20 or more.

Bottle prices usually start around $400, and specialty drink pitchers are around $100.

You can get away with only $100 if you only drink a few drinks plus entry. Do not forget about food, which is not cheap either.
