As if the streets of Las Vegas couldn’t get any brighter. In 2023, Sphere Entertainment Co., a subsidiary of MSG Networks, turned the lights of its aptly named MSG Sphere on for the first time.
The brightly lit sphere quickly became a popular attraction for locals and tourists alike, drawing eyes from all over to catch a glimpse of the advanced structure as its 580,000 square feet of LEDs changed from an oversized basketball to a human eye.
Slated for a September 29, 2023 opening, the Sphere aims to be the city’s newest immersive experience, combining thrilling visuals with the talents of creators like Darren Aronofsky.

What is Sphere & Where is it Located?
As the name implies, Sphere, or the MSG Sphere, is a large spherical object located on Sands Avenue just behind the Venetian Las Vegas and across from the Wynn Golf Club.
While its exterior is a sight to behold, Sphere serves a distinct purpose as a music and entertainment venue.

Sphere is accessible from Sands Avenue heading eastbound from South Koval or Las Vegas Boulevard. Because Sands Avenue has a median there is no turn off from the westbound traffic.
