The NFL Draft is out West for the first time ever, and while Sin City is always packed with visitors, thousands more people than usual will be flocking to the strip wearing foam fingers, jerseys, and beer hats to watch teams bid for players fresh off the college fields.

NFL Draft Red Carpet Presentation of College Football Stars

The young NFL prospects, as well as legends, will walk the red carpet before entering the venue. The paparazzi, reporters, and ESPN hosts will interview and photograph the players as they arrive to start the glamorous walk to their new careers.
Players will make red carpet media rounds on stage before heading to the NFL Draft Main Stage. Expect to see these players chauffeured in style with the hottest luxury vehicles driving them down Flamingo Road.

Join fans, players, coaches, and legends at the Main Stage where the players will wait to hear their names for an invitation to join the best sports league in the world.
The Main Stage is always free and open to the public. This year, the stage will be the largest in NFL draft event history with several large LED screens that will allow everyone in attendance to see the excitement on stage.
Thousands of people will be able to listen to concerts while seeing the start of NFL players’ careers. Other fun activities including a 40-yard dash activation and a Super Bowl trophy display area for fans to check out will be part of the NFL Draft Experience.
NFL Draft Experience
Hours: April 28th noon- 9:30pm, April 29th noon-10pm, April 30th 8am- 6pm.
This massive, free NFL Draft party gives fans of all ages a chance to participate in football games, test their skills, enjoy autograph sessions with players and see fun exhibits.
Partygoers can also take their pictures with the Vince Lombardi Trophy!
Visitors will need to register at NFL OnePass to visit the NFL Draft Experience.

Room rates During NFL Draft
Special events in Las Vegas always cause room rates to rise but the NFL Draft weekend in Las Vegas is causing rates at some hotels to more than triple.
Many of the hotels where visitors can frequently find rooms for less than $100 currently have rates of $300 or more for the NFL Draft Weekend in Vegas. For nicer hotels on the strip, you can expect rates of $500 or more per night.
Most hotels on strip are expected to sell out as the 2019 Draft in Nashville drew more than 600,000 visitors to the city and sold out nearly all the hotels and lodgings in the area.
What To Know Before You Go
There are many security measures in place for the 2022 NFL Draft
- Heightened security screenings including careful inspection of all possessions carried by fans.
- No backpacks or luggage allowed
- Personal bags must be clear and no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”
- Exceptions for medical devices after inspection
- Multiple road closures will be in effect from April 12- May 6 in preparation for and tearing down the event
