TI – Treasure Island Inside Info, Discounts, and FAQ
Strip View
Treasure Island, or TI it’s frequently called, offers a fresh feel with a young, upbeat theme, while still being competitively priced. Avoid rooms overlooking the pool, if you hope to get a good night’s sleep. It gets loud throughout the afternoon and long into the night. It’s worth upgrading to a Strip view room, with great views of both the Strip and the Mirage’s volcano. If you’re near the Sirens show you’ll hear fireworks and music until midnight.
Sirens of TI
The family-friendly pirate show was discontinued in 2005, replaced by the Sirens – more of an adult-oriented show with females flaunting a scurvy enhanced chest as they swing from the mast.
Bar Flare
The coffee shop offers good food at a budget price, but be prepared for a wait. Kahunaville is billed as the “original Las Vegas party bar.” Here you’ll find a high-energy, fun atmosphere where the bartenders put on a show, and the fare, especially the coconut shrimp and burgers, is very good.
