60th Floor

At the Mandalay Bay, as with most Vegas hotels, higher is better, Strip view rooms are the best with the 60th floor some of the most popular. The even number rooms on the upper floors have the views of both the Strip and the mountains.

Buffet Savings

For those who are looking to save, consider bringing your own coffee maker if you want to avoid the expense of paying for pricey coffee in the morning. To save on the dinner buffet, head there just before the end of the lunch period. You’ll pay a cheaper price but get many of the same items on the dinner buffet.

Lazy River

The pool is fantastic but you’ll need to get there by 9 a.m. if you want a good spot that offers some shade. Another way to save is to bring your own tube for the lazy river, sold at Walmart just down the road. It’s much cheaper than paying the $20 per day fee to rent one.

Mix Lounge

Head to Red Square for some of the best Martini’s in the city, and you won’t want to miss the breathtaking views from the Mix Lounge.

One Review to “Mandalay Bay”

  1. My wife and I really enjoyed the Mandalay Bay our last trip in 2013.

The pool is Amazing and big with a large wave pool too. I would give this hotel a 5 but it is a little far south on the strip and there are quite a bit of kids running around at the pool too.
