Encore vs Wynn
Encore Resort is the Wynn’s newer and slightly hipper sister hotel that even surpasses its luxurious older sibling in magnificence and opulence. Choose an even numbered room for a strip view, but do prepare to do a lot of walking to get to popular Vegas attractions, or call a cab.
Celebrities
If you enjoy people watching or are intrigued by Hollywood celebrities, there is a good chance you’ll spot someone “big” here. The Encore is one of the top spots in Vegas, and the hotel’s famed nightclub, Surrender, is said to be one of actor Leonardo DiCaprio’s favorites. Eva Chow, Alexis Bellino and Ashley Tisdale are just a few who have visited recently. You probably won’t see Paris Hilton make an appearance she was banned by both Wynn and Encore.
Encore Beach Club
Keep in mind that The Beach Club is typically for the younger crowd, and that the Encore is the place to go if you want to see and be seen, i.e., everyone is dressed to the nines. You might feel out of place if you’re a female who isn’t wearing the latest Hermes dress with sky-high heels, or a guy without cufflinks. Not to worry, bring your credit card and you can buy everything you need at the Encore’s trendy shops.
