Whether you’re a Vegas regular or someone visiting the city for the first time, you’ll want to head to the Mandalay Bay Resort Pool during summertime. Below, you’ll find a guide featuring Mandalay Pool details so you can have an enjoyable trip to the pool.

Mandalay Bay pool guide Las Vegas

Pool Overview

There are four areas of pools that stretch out over the Mandalay Bay pool complex, which spans 11 acres. These areas include the Beach & Wave Pool, Lazy River, the Pools, and Moorea Beach Club. Each area offers a different vibe and fun activities for all.

Beach & Wave Pool

The beach offers an area for kids to play in real sand (2,700 tons). It leads right up to the wave pool, which holds 1.6 million gallons of water. The waves come randomly and can even reach six feet in height.

Live music plays on the beach’s stage during the summer, making it a fun spot for families to hang out and enjoy the waves.

Near the sandy beach, you’ll find a taco shack serving casual eats that are great for kids and adults.

Lazy River

The Lazy River runs for ¼ mile and offers guests the chance to lounge in an inner tube as you slowly flow down the river. Alongside the Lazy River, you’ll find palm trees, waterfalls, and brightly-colored tropical flowers to make you feel like you’re in a tropical oasis. You can ride the Lazy River with or without a raft.

Delano Beach Club & Lagoons

There are three pools within this area that guests can enjoy – one at the Delano Beach Club, an East Lagoon, and a West Lagoon. The lagoons offer a peaceful respite and have the most cabanas and seating options. They’re typical hotel pools that make it easy for guests to dip in the pool and cool off between sunbathing.

The Delano Beach Club is an area nearby the Delano Hotel. The whole Mandalay Beach area is shared between the Delano Hotel and Mandalay Bay.

Here, guests can enjoy a more upscale-feeling atmosphere with a separate restaurant and bar. It’s a smaller pool than others in Mandalay Bay, though it still offers a pleasant, tranquil environment.

Nearby the Delano Beach Club is the Beach Bar and Grill. This eatery offers snacks and drinks. You can also order meals here, and the staff will bring them to your cabana.

Between the lagoons, you’ll find the Bikini Bar. This bar offers fun cocktails to help you stay cool during a visit to Mandalay Bay.

Moorea Beach Club & Daylight Beach Club

Moorea Beach Club is an adults-only area featuring a European dress code. Guests must be 21+ to enter this area. It’s found on the second level of the beach tower and is often combined with the Daylight Beach Club.

The Daylight Beach Club features DJs, live music, and a party atmosphere. This Vegas day club covers a 50,000-foot area and includes private pools for cabana guests and a large main pool.

Mandalay Pool Hours

All pools are open Monday through Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm during the summer. Daylight Beach is the exception, as it’s also open from 9 pm until close Friday and Saturday nights in the summertime.
